What types of projects do you manage in Gouti?

« As the Director of the Bid and Projects Department, I am in charge of a team of project directors and project managers. We are currently managing deployment projects for our solutions, pre-sales scoping projects, responses to calls for tenders as well as some internal projects. »

For what reason(s) were you looking for project management software?

« We were using several tools (Trello, GanttPro) with limited functions that would have required us to use Excel. We have therefore embarked on the search for a more complete and integrated tool. »

Did several choices present themselves to you? If so, which ones?

« Yes, we studied the following tools: Asana, Mission Control (Salesforce) and Bubble Plan. »

What made you choose Gouti rather than another?

« What immediately attracted me is the ergonomics of the solution, its ease of use and the fact that we can share our projects for free to our customers through the Basic license. Economically speaking, Gouti is also more advantageous than its competitors and I find its content more complete (risks, problems, actions, planning, ...). Finally, the fact that it is a French startup also counts in our choice. »

What benefit(s) do you get from using Gouti?

« Gouti allows us to have visibility over all the projects and to concentrate project data in one place, which facilitates the resumption of activity if someone is absent. It allows budget monitoring through the tracking of time spent and also facilitates the management of teams' capacity to work on forecasted occupancy. »

What features of Gouti have a real added value for you?

« In the first place, what has a real added value for us is the simple and easy-to-use schedule with immediate export in png format to ensure quick sharing. Obviously the monitoring of dates and statuses for all categories (risks, actions, problems, deliverables,...) to move forward calmly in the project’s progress.

Sharing with the client is really a plus, to ensure transparency on the progress of the project. On more internal issues, managing the project portfolio and resource capacity really facilitates the management of projects and the team. »

How did the integration of Gouti in your organization go?

« We proceeded step by step, starting with the new projects (very little recovery done on projects already in progress). The integration was done step by step, by adding new concepts regularly (creation of the schedule, addition of charges per task, time entry, then sharing with the client, tracking actions and risks, then monitoring the budget...). »

What feedback have you received from members of your company who use Gouti?

« The team is rather happy to have its own tool, and they saw the added value especially in case one of the project managers was absent. Having all the information concentrated in the tool, it is very easy for someone to know where a project stands. The tool has been adopted by all my team but not in other services, because this tool is really dedicated to the Project. »

What do you think of CG Project Management’s responsiveness to your requests?

« The responsiveness of CG Project Management is really very good: both in terms of Support and for the study and implementation of new features. »

If you had to define Gouti in 3 words, what would they be?

« If I had to define Gouti, I would say: easy, responsive and simply the "base" of project management. »
