Solimut Mutuelle de France is a mutual insurance company that contributes to the social protection of the population. It has been a major player in the mutualist movement for over 40 years.

My name is Frédéric Mariani and I'm in charge of coordinating information systems at Solimut Mutuelle.
I mainly manage the team of project managers: we have 5 MOA (project owner) project managers, around 15 developers and MOE (project manager) project managers, and 15 people working on assistance, acceptance and parameterization. All this adds up to a department of around 35 people.
We manage all the projects on our workload schedule. These are purely information systems projects, linked to the world of healthcare and mutual insurance.
To do a quick history, initially, the project managers team made project sheets on Excel. We were looking to replace the Excel workbooks with software, that’s what we found with Gouti.
We used it for about 6 months/1 year, only within our project manager department. Following this period, I was, in a way, the ambassador of Gouti. I presented it to the CODIR (Executive Committee) and today there are 70 people who use it within the company, in all departments of the company. Whether it’s accounting, the Insurance Department, marketing, they use Gouti as soon as they do the project. Furthermore, we have project manager training at the company level and on the margins of these we present Gouti.
I had instructed one of my collaborators to conduct a comparative study. He had retained two solutions, but I admit I no longer remember the second one.
We chose Gouti for its ease of use, grip and because it perfectly met our needs. We mainly use the project charter and task management. Cost was also a selection criterion.
At the service level, and for me mainly, Gouti allows to easily transcribe the project situation to the CODIR. This involves the generation of documents, the project charter, task reports...
Beyond that, what interests us above all is being able to work in a cross-functional way with the other departments of the company. Now, all the people who work in project mode use Gouti. We can therefore position them in the organization of the different projects, assign tasks to them...
All the collaborative aspect, task management, milestones, reports, and the project charter, which are mainly used.

Initially we used it for the project managers. Christian Gutekunst, the leader of CG Project Management, gave us a presentation and half-day training. Following that, we used it for about 6 months / 1 year, and afterwards, when we shared it with the other services, I did the trainer relay internally. For new entrants, we have ordered self-training licenses so that they can increase their skills in use.
I think because now all the people who work in project mode are using it regularly. Getting started is simple, for project management with deliverables, milestones, project organization, tasks and problems, it’s quite intuitive.
For now I would say it is perfect! Every time we asked questions, the answers are very quick, we have the answers within half a day, at most during the day. In addition, every time we asked for changes/evolutions, when it was in the field of the feasible, it was achieved. That’s also why I advertised it at the company level.
As I noted previously, I would say 'Collaborative'. We are still 450 people at the company level and about a hundred people from all departments working in project mode. I would say otherwise that Gouti is intuitive and complete. By using it every day we have not yet integrated all the possible features, it is a really complete tool.
